Other provisions in this section
- Requirements in 46.1.2(b) apply to lots of 5 hectares or less; those in 46.1.2(c) apply to lots greater than 5 hectares.
- Minimum ground floor area for the main building (both lot-size classes): 170 m2 for a one-storey building and 115 m2 for a building of more than one storey.
- Accessory buildings other than a detached garage or carport: on a lot of 2 hectares or less they follow the General Provisions for Residential Zones; on a lot greater than 2 hectares they shall not be located in the front yard and shall not be closer than 3 m to the nearest lot line (46.1.2(e)).
- A garage or carport, attached or detached, is subject to the General Provisions for Residential Zones (46.1.2(e)).
- Kennel: any building, structure, enclosure or yard used in connection with a kennel shall not be located closer than 152 m to the property limits of an abutting or adjacent lot (46.1.2(f)).
- Rear yard depth is 15 m for both lot-size classes.
