A holding zone where land may only continue to be used as it was when the by-law was passed, and every dimensional standard is frozen at the existing building and lot conditions.

Other provisions in this section

  • Only buildings, structures or uses that existed on the date the By-law amendment (262-2019) was passed are permitted (29.4.1.a); no new uses are listed.
  • All standards in 29.4.2 (a-g) are fixed at the existing condition on the lot rather than stated as numbers, so compliance means no reduction below / increase above what already exists.
  • No lot area, lot coverage, landscaped open space, floor space index, density or parking standards are stated in this section.
