O3 zone, Burlington: O3 Zone (Open Space)
By-law 2020 Part 10, Sections 1 and 6 (6.1–6.3) of the City of Burlington Zoning By-law 09-2026 / 2020.
Natural open space and park land where parks, trails, conservation, agriculture (outside woodlots) and similar low-intensity uses are allowed, with no lot or building dimensional standards set in the zone itself.

Other provisions in this section
- Buildings, structures and facilities for permitted uses, and accessory buildings and structures for permitted uses, are permitted (s.6.2).
- Buildings and structures intended for public assembly must be set back 30 m from a railway right-of-way (s.6.3).
- Agriculture is permitted only outside a woodlot (s.6.1).
- Storm water management and erosion control is permitted but permanent detention and retention ponds are excluded (s.6.1).
- All uses are subject to Part 1 (General Conditions and Provisions) and Part 14 (Exceptions to Zone Designations) (s.1).
