OS-ORM zone, Caledon: Open Space – Oak Ridges Moraine
Section 12 – Open Space Zones, Tables 12.1 and 12.2 (Subsections 12.2, 12.3) of the Town of Caledon Zoning By-law 2006-50.
Open space land on the Oak Ridges Moraine for parks, beaches, camping grounds, forest management and horticultural nurseries, with small buildings (max 10.5 m high) set back 7.5 m from every lot line and at least half the lot kept as landscaped area.

Other provisions in this section
- Minimum building separation: 3 m (Table 12.2).
- Minimum dwelling unit area: 55 m² (Table 12.2).
- Maximum building area is the greater of 10% of the lot or 20 m² (Table 12.2 footnote 1).
- Minimum driveway setback: (a) fully serviced lot: nil, except 3 m where a side lot line abuts a residential zone; (b) other lots: 1.5 m, except 4.5 m where a side lot line abuts a residential zone (Table 12.2).
- Minimum parking space setback from any street line: 4.5 m from a lot line abutting a residential zone; 1.5 m from any other lot line (Table 12.2).
- Cemetery, Conservation School, Commercial Parking Area and Municipal Parking Area are only permitted in the ORM Countryside Area designations shown on Schedule E to the By-law and Schedule P to the Official Plan (Table 12.1 footnote 1).
- All uses are also subject to the General Provisions in Section 4 and the Parking, Loading & Delivery Standards in Section 5 (Subsection 12.1).
- Table 12.2 lists separate lot area (4 ha) and lot frontage (60 m) standards for golf courses, although golf course is not listed as a permitted use in the OS-ORM column of Table 12.1.
