Section 11 – Environmental Policy Area Zones, Tables 11.1 and 11.2 of the Town of Caledon Zoning By-law 2006-50.

A protected natural-heritage zone on the Oak Ridges Moraine where only existing farming, conservation and low-intensity recreation are allowed, and a detached house is permitted only on a vacant lot of record that qualified for one as of November 15, 2001.

  • Zone applies to lands in the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan Area within a Key Natural Heritage Feature, a Hydrologically Sensitive Feature and/or its minimum vegetation protection zone (Section 11.2)
