A small-scale commercial zone for neighbourhood conveniences such as small shops, restaurants, personal services and day cares, on lots of at least 6,500 m² with buildings up to 9.5 m tall covering no more than 35% of the lot.

Other provisions in this section

  • Minimum setback of 6 m from any building or structure to a lot line abutting a Residential Zone, Institutional Zone, or the Open Space Zone (Table 9-3).
  • Minimum landscape strip of 3 m in width abutting any street line (Table 9-3).
  • Minimum landscape strip of 4.5 m in width on any interior side lot line or rear lot line abutting a Residential Zone or the Open Space Zone (Table 9-3).
  • Table 9-2 note 1: community garden, seasonal outdoor display area and temporary sales office are subject to the specific use provisions of Part 5.

  • Uses not marked in the CC column of Table 9-2 (e.g. office, clinic, supermarket, fueling station, drive-through, outdoor patio, place of worship) are not permitted in the CC zone.
