Other provisions in this section
- Minimum lot area is 8 ha (80,000 m²) and minimum lot frontage is 120 m (Table 10.2).
- Maximum building area is the lesser of 5% of the lot or 1 ha; this maximum does not apply to Public Uses owned and operated by the Town of Caledon or to a Livestock Facility (Table 10.2 footnotes 1 and 2).
- Minimum interior side yard is 3 m on existing lots of less than 8 ha and 15 m on other lots.
- Maximum building height is 10.5 m for residential uses and 12.2 m for non-residential uses.
- Minimum landscaping area is 10%.
- Accessory gasoline pump island minimum setback is 9 m.
- Minimum driveway setback is 3 m; must comply with Section 5.2.14, Driveway Provisions for Residential Dwellings (Table 10.2 footnote 3).
- Minimum parking space setback from any street line is 3 m.
- An accessory bunkhouse is permitted only on lots with a minimum lot area of 6 ha (Table 10.1 footnote 2).
- A detached dwelling is permitted only on a vacant lot of record where a single detached dwelling would have been permitted as of November 15, 2001, plus accessory uses (Table 10.1 footnote 4).
- Bed and breakfast establishments must comply with Section 4.5 and Section 5.2.2 Residential Parking Requirements (Table 10.1 footnote 3).
- Agricultural uses must comply with Section 4.41, Prohibited Uses in Wellhead Protection Area within the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan Area (Table 10.1 footnote 7).
- Farm-based alcohol production facilities and on-farm diversified uses must comply with Section 4.26 (Table 10.1 footnote 6).
- Cannabis-related and industrial hemp-related outdoor uses must comply with Section 4.7 (Table 10.1 footnote 8).
- Section 10.4.1: where a lot fails to meet the minimum lot area and/or lot frontage, residential uses are subject to the RR column standards of Table 6.1 and Section 6, plus Sections 4.2.2, 4.41 and 5.2.19; non-residential uses (and mixed residential/non-residential lots) remain subject to all Section 10 standards including minimum lot area and frontage.
- All uses are also subject to the General Provisions of Section 4 and the Parking, Loading & Delivery Standards of Section 5 (Section 10.1).
