Other provisions in this section

  • Minimum lot area is 4 ha (40,000 m²) as stated in Table 10.2.
  • Minimum driveway setback 3 m; must comply with Section 5.2.14, Driveway Provisions for Residential Dwellings (Table 10.2 footnote 3).
  • Minimum parking space setback from any street line: 3 m.
  • Maximum building area (5%) does not apply to Public Uses owned and operated by the Town of Caledon or to a Livestock Facility.
  • Accessory buildings require a minimum rear yard of 10 m (main building 15 m).
  • Detached dwelling permitted only on a vacant lot of record where a single detached dwelling would have been permitted as of November 15, 2001, and accessory uses thereto (Table 10.1 footnote 4).
  • Agricultural uses must comply with Section 4.41 Prohibited Uses in Wellhead Protection Area within the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan Area (footnote 7).
  • Bed and Breakfast Establishments must comply with Section 4.5 Bed and Breakfast Establishments and Country Inns and Section 5.2.2 Residential Parking Requirements (footnote 3).
  • Farm-based Alcohol Production Facility and On Farm Diversified Use must comply with General Provisions Section 4.26 (footnote 6).
  • Cannabis-Related Use-Outdoor and Industrial Hemp-Related Use-Outdoor must comply with Section 4.7 Cannabis or Industrial Hemp Uses (footnote 8).
  • Section 10.4.1: where a lot fails to meet the minimum lot area and/or lot frontage, residential uses are subject to the RR column of Table 6.1, Section 6, and Sections 4.2.2, 4.41 and 5.2.19; non-residential uses (and lots with both a residential and a non-residential use) remain subject to all Section 10 standards including minimum lot area and frontage.
  • All uses are also subject to the General Provisions in Section 4 and the Parking, Loading & Delivery Standards in Section 5 (Section 10.1).
