OS1 zone, Mississauga: Open Space - Community Park
Part 9, Section 9.2.1, Table 9.2.1 (OS1 column) of the City of Mississauga Zoning By-law 0225-2007, as amended by 0379-2009, 0018-2021.
A community park zone for public recreation, allowing passive and active recreational uses and stormwater facilities, with buildings kept at least 4.5 m from any lot line (6.0 m where the lot line abuts a residential zone).

- Minimum setback of a building or structure to any lot line: 4.5 m (Table 9.2.1 row 4.0, note 1: see also Subsection 2.1.17, setbacks to Greenlands zones for non-residential zones, Table 2.1.17.1).
- Minimum setback of a building or structure to a lot line abutting a Residential zone: 6.0 m (Table 9.2.1 row 5.0, note 1: see also Subsection 2.1.17).
- Minimum landscaped buffer abutting all lot lines: n/a (Table 9.2.1 row 7.0; note 3 refers to Subsection 2.1.25 Landscaped Buffers).
- Cemetery is listed in the table (row 2.4) but is not marked as permitted in the OS1 column.
- Table note (2) was deleted by By-law 0018-2021.
- All buildings and structures must also comply with Parts 1 to 3 and Section 9.1 (General Provisions for Open Space Zones) of the By-law.
- Section 9.1.1.1: parking areas may be constructed of a permeable type of material.
- Section 9.1.1.2 (0179-2018): accessory uses in OS1 zones include, but are not limited to, washroom/changeroom facility, shade structure, maintenance/storage building or structure, or an office for a permitted use, permitted accessory to an active or passive recreational use.
- Site-specific exception zones OS1-1 to OS1-4 exist (Section 9.2.2); refer to Article 1.1.2.3 and the exception zone schedules.
