OS2 zone, Mississauga: Open Space - City Park
Part 9, Section 9.2.1, Table 9.2.1 (OS2 column) of the City of Mississauga Zoning By-law 0225-2007, as amended by 0379-2009, 0018-2021, 0179-2018.
A City park zone for passive and active recreation (playgrounds, sports fields, trails, stormwater ponds) where any building must sit at least 4.5 m from every lot line, or 6.0 m from a lot line next to a residential zone.

- Minimum setback of a building or structure to a lot line abutting a residential zone: 6.0 m (Table 9.2.1 line 5.0, note 1: see also Subsection 2.1.17).
- Minimum landscaped buffer abutting all lot lines: 4.5 m (Table 9.2.1 line 7.0; notes 1 and 3: see also Subsections 2.1.17 and 2.1.25).
- Subsection 2.1.17 (Table 2.1.17.1): buildings/structures and parking areas, driveways, loading spaces, other paved areas and outdoor storage in a non-residential zone must be set back the greater of 5.0 m or the required yard/setback from lands zoned G1 or G2 Base Zone or G1 Exception Zones.
- Subsection 2.1.25: a required landscaped buffer may be reduced to 0.0 m where it abuts a sight triangle or a 0.3 m reserve abutting a sight triangle (2.1.25.1), and is not required along a shared property line where a driveway, condominium road, aisle or parking area is shared with abutting lands (2.1.25.2).

- Section 9.1.1.1: parking areas may be constructed of a permeable type of material.
- Section 9.1.1.2: accessory uses in OS2 zones include, but are not limited to, washroom/changeroom facility, shade structure, maintenance/storage building or structure, or an office for a permitted use, permitted accessory to an active or passive recreational use (0179-2018).
- All buildings and structures must also comply with Parts 1 to 3 and Section 9.1 of the By-law.
- Section 9.2.3: 20 site-specific exception zones OS2-1 to OS2-20 exist; refer to Article 1.1.2.3 and the exception zone schedules.
