What the HC2 zone permits

  • A service station or gas bar
  • A motor vehicle washing establishment
  • Only in conjunction with a service station or gas bar: a retail establishment having no outside storage, a convenience store, a convenience restaurant, a take-out restaurant, a personal service shop, a dry cleaning and laundry distribution station, or a bank, trust company or finance company
  • An animal hospital
  • A place of worship
  • Purposes accessory to the other permitted purposes

  • 24.2.1(a)(3): retail establishment (no outside storage), convenience store, convenience restaurant, take-out restaurant, personal service shop, dry cleaning and laundry distribution station, bank, trust company or finance company are permitted only in conjunction with a service station or gas bar
  • 24.2.2(g): maximum building height is 2 storeys
  • 24.2.2(i): no underground or aboveground storage tanks for gasoline or propane, intake valves or fume exhaust outlets may be located in the minimum required yard adjacent to any residential zone
