- Parking (s.6.9): per Part 1, s.2.25 Off-Street Parking and Loading Requirements; visitor parking not required where a permitted freestanding residential use shares a lot with a non-residential use occupying at least 30% of the lot area; parking of trucks and trailers prohibited except while loading/unloading, for customer use, belonging to the owner/tenant, or used for charitable purposes.
- Contiguous lots (s.6.10): multiple contiguous lots developed under a single comprehensive site plan are deemed one lot for applying zoning regulations.
- Amenity area (s.6.11): dwelling units on the second or third floors above commercial uses require a minimum amenity area of 20 m2 per unit.
- Fencing (s.6.12): on lands abutting a residential zone, fencing at least 1.8 m high along the common boundary (solid screen fence, or chain-link plus landscape planting forming a dense year-round screen).
- Prohibited uses (s.3, in addition to Part 1, s.2.22): parking lot; taxi cab garage; recreational vehicle, utility trailer sales & service; adult entertainment establishment.
- Holding zone (s.1(a)): where the designation is preceded by 'H', permitted uses per Part 11, s.1.1 and development is premature until the 'H' is removed per Part 11, s.1.2.
- All uses subject to Part 1 (General Conditions and Provisions) and Part 14 (Exceptions to Zone Designations).
