- Loading and unloading shall not take place within 7.5 m of an RNA zone; loading docks must be screened from view from an adjoining RNA zone (s.10.3).
- Outside storage: only merchandise displayed for retail sale may be stored outside, and not in a truck, trailer or other vehicle (s.10.4(a)).
- Perishable waste must be kept in refrigerated storage within a building, or outside only in a deep collection sealed container with lockable lid located primarily below grade (s.10.4(b)).
- Non-perishable waste stored outside on lands abutting an RNA zone must be kept within a solid screen enclosure per Part 1, Subsection 2.2.2 (s.10.4(c)).
- Parking per Part 1, Subsection 2.25 'Off-Street Parking and Loading Requirements' (s.10.5(a)).
- Parking of trucks and trailers is prohibited except while being loaded/unloaded, for customer use, belonging to a property owner or tenant, or used for charitable purposes (s.10.5(b)).
- On lands abutting an RNA zone, fencing at least 1.8 m high (solid screen fence, or chain-link plus landscape planting forming a dense year-round screen) must be installed along the common boundary (s.10.6).
- Retail/service commercial, office, hospitality, automotive and other recreational establishment uses are permitted only on lots with municipal water and sewer (Table 9.3.1 footnote (f)).
- Veterinary services: only on existing lots with minimum lot area 1.2 ha; buildings, structures or enclosures for keeping animals set back 30 m from a lot line or street line (footnote (e)).
- Accessory farm commercial and accessory farm dwelling unit only in conjunction with a commercial farm; the dwelling unit must be for farm help (footnotes (a), (b)).
- Outdoor patio subject to Part 1, Section 2.21(v) (footnote (i)).
- Prohibited: parking/storage of a motor vehicle (other than a recreational vehicle) exceeding 3,000 kg registered gross vehicle weight, 6 m overall length or 2.6 m overall height; motor vehicles with a stake body; vehicles on/off trailers or utility trailers with load exceeding a combined height of 3.6 m; plus uses prohibited in Part 1, Subsection 2.22 (s.2).
- Holding 'H' prefix: uses per Part 11, Subsection 1.1; development deemed premature until the H is removed per Part 11, Subsection 1.2 (s.1(a)).
