P3 zone, Hamilton: City Wide Park (P3) Zone

Section 7.3 (Subsections 7.3.1-7.3.3) of the City of Hamilton Zoning By-law 05-200, as amended by 06-166, 14-273, 15-107.

A zone for large city-wide parks that allows recreation, entertainment, marinas, small shops and restaurants, and urban farming, with buildings kept 7.5 m from side and rear lot lines and no taller than 11 m.

  • Urban Farmers Market must comply with Section 4.28 of the By-law (Section 7.3.3 g, By-law 15-107).
  • Uses accessory to the permitted uses are also permitted (Section 7.3 preamble).
