Section 7.4 (7.4.1 Permitted Uses, 7.4.2 Regulations) of the City of Hamilton Zoning By-law 05-200, as amended by 06-166, 07-321, 14-238, 14-273, 15-173.

A zone for parks, gardens, cemeteries, golf courses, campgrounds, marinas and similar outdoor recreation and conservation lands, with buildings kept low and set back 7.5 m from side and rear lot lines.

Other provisions in this section

  • Parking: in accordance with Section 5 of the By-law (7.4.2 c).
  • Accessory buildings: minimum side and rear yard of 7.5 m for any accessory building or structure abutting a Residential or Institutional Zone (7.4.2 d).
  • Urban Farm: subject to the requirements of Section 4.26 of the By-law (7.4.2 e; By-law 14-273).
  • Community Garden: subject to the requirements of Section 4.27 of the By-law (7.4.2 f; By-law 14-273).
  • Golf Course permitted only excluding mini-golf (7.4.1).
  • Uses accessory to the permitted uses are also permitted (7.4 preamble).
  • By-law 07-321 deleted the original regulation b) and relettered c), d) and e) to b), c) and d).
