Other provisions in this section
- Minimum lot frontage is set by Table 6.1.2.1 (Subsection 6.1.2): interior lot 36.0 m, 45.0 m with a wash facility - restricted, 60.0 m with a wash facility - restricted plus another use; corner lot 48.0 m, 60.0 m and 70.0 m respectively.
- Minimum setback from any lot line to a fuel pump is 6.0 m; the yard/setback to a fuel dispensing island weather canopy is measured to the face of the canopy (Table 6.1.2.1 lines 2.1-2.2).
- Where a motor vehicle service use abuts a Residential Zone, maximum non-residential gross floor area is 300 m², excluding the convenience retail and service kiosk (Subsection 6.1.2.2).
- Minimum landscaped buffer depth: 4.5 m from a lot line that is a street line; 3.0 m from a lot line abutting an Institutional, Office, Downtown Core, Employment, Buffer or Utility Zone; 1.5 m from a lot line abutting another Commercial Zone; 4.5 m from any other lot line (Table 6.2.1 line 12; see also Subsection 2.1.25 for reductions at sight triangles and shared driveways).
- Parking and loading spaces shall not be located between a streetwall and a lot line that is a street line (line 13.0).
- The main front entrance for commercial uses on the first storey shall be located in the streetwall on the first storey (line 16.0).
- Exemption: the centreline setback provisions of Subsection 2.1.14 do not apply in the C5 zone (line 17.1).
- Gas bars and motor vehicle service stations are also subject to Subsection 2.1.29 (drive-throughs not permitted within the hatched areas on Schedules 2.1.29(1) and (2)).
- All motor vehicle service uses are also subject to Table 2.1.2.2.3 (note 3) and setbacks to Greenlands Zones in Subsection 2.1.17 / Table 2.1.17.1 (note 7).
