- Table 7-3 note 1: minimum front yard is the existing front yard less 10% or 9.0 m, whichever is greater.
- Table 7-3 note 2: maximum lot coverage in the R1E Zone may be 23% provided the maximum height is 9.5 m.
- Table 7-3 note 3: where a lot is accessed by a lane, minimum lot frontage is 12.0 m and minimum rear yard is 13.0 m.
- Table 7-3 note 4: where a private garage faces a front lot line or an exterior side lot line, the minimum setback to the private garage is 5.7 m.
- Table 7-3 note 5 (3.5 m interior side yard where abutting a walkway, greenway or stormwater management facility) is not referenced in the R1E column of Table 7-3 and so does not apply to this zone.
- Semi-detached dwellings are not permitted in the R1 zones (Table 7-2).
- Community garden, model home, temporary sales office, home occupation, secondary suite and short-term rental are subject to the specific use provisions of Part 5 (Table 7-2 note 1).
- Home occupation, secondary suite and short-term rental are permitted only as specified accessory uses.
- General provisions (Part 4: yard encroachments, accessory buildings, etc.) and parking (Part 6) apply but are not stated in this zone's section.
