Other provisions in this section

• 9.2.3 b): Minimum yard abutting a street 3.0 m (applies to any yard that abuts a street, i.e. front and flankage yards); no minimum rear or interior side yard is stated in this section.
• 9.2.2 i): Prohibited manufacturing uses (unless accessory to another permitted manufacturing use): asbestos/phosphate/sulphur products; primary production of chemicals, synthetic rubber or plastic; petroleum or coal processing/refining; animal feed processing/milling/packaging; salvage yard; slaughtering/rendering of meat, poultry or fish; smelting of ore or metal; tanning or chemical processing of pelts/leather; vulcanizing of rubber; explosives manufacturing; pulp and paper mills.
• 9.2.2 ii): Child Care Centre and Dwelling Unit are prohibited, even as accessory uses (By-law 25-155).
• 9.2.3 c): Minimum 3.0 m wide landscaped area along any street except at ingress/egress; where parking, aisle or driveway is in a yard abutting a street, a minimum 6.0 m wide landscaped area including a 3.0 m wide planting strip is required between it and the street (By-law 14-238).
• 9.2.3 d): Outdoor storage and outdoor assembly permitted only in conjunction with a building; not permitted in a front yard or required flankage yard; shall not exceed 85% of total lot area; must be screened from any abutting street by a visual barrier per Section 4.19 (By-law 11-276).
• 9.2.3 e): Outdoor display of goods permitted only as an accessory use, in a yard abutting a street, no closer than 3.0 m to the lot line.
• 9.2.3 f) i): Waste Processing Facility or Waste Transfer Facility buildings, structures or land must be at least 300.0 m from a Residentially or Institutionally Zoned property lot line.
• 9.2.3 f) ii): Waste Processing Facility and Waste Transfer Facility not permitted on lots within the boundaries shown on Figure 4 of Schedule F - Special Figures.
• 9.2.3 g): Combined gross floor area of Industrial Administrative Office and Surveying, Engineering, Planning or Design Business uses max 4,000.0 m2 per individual building (By-law 24-137).
• 9.2.3 h): Alcohol Production Facility maximum gross floor area 5,000 m2 (By-law 18-219).
• 9.2.3 i): Combined accessory retail, showroom area and tasting room max 25% of principal use GFA or 500.0 m2, whichever is less; retail associated with a motor vehicle service station max 280 m2.
• 9.2.3 j): Parking per Section 5 of the By-law.
• 9.2.3 k): Accessory buildings per Section 4.8; additionally no accessory building permitted in a front yard or flankage yard (By-laws 21-189, 12-132).
• 9.2.3 l): Cannabis Growing and Harvesting Facility: no outdoor storage or outdoor assembly; retail sales per 9.2.3 i); notwithstanding Section 4.12 c), buildings/structures must be set back at least 150 m from any lot line abutting a Residential, Institutional or Commercial and Mixed Use Zone, and from any existing residential dwelling unit, farm labour residence, mobile home, educational establishment, residential care facility, place of worship, day care or park in a Rural Classification Zone (By-laws 14-163, 18-266, 21-189).
