A high-density residential zone for apartment buildings, along with long term care facilities, retirement homes, day cares and similar uses, on large lots at least 1,858 m² with 24 m of frontage.

- Table 6.3.9 regulations are stated for apartment dwellings only; no separate standards are given for the other permitted uses in the RH zone.
- Uses not permitted in RH (Table 6.2.2): attached or detached additional residential unit, back-to-back townhouse, stacked townhouse, townhouse dwelling.
- Table 6.2.2 footnote 1: a maximum of one of day care, private home daycare or short-term accommodation is permitted in a dwelling or an associated additional residential unit (2023-024) (2024-111).
- s.6.5.2 accessory buildings: minimum yards same as the dwelling, except 0.6 m from any lot line when in a flankage or rear yard and at least 2.0 m from the dwelling; max height 4.0 m from grade, reduced to 2.5 m if less than 3.5 m from a flankage lot line; max lot coverage the greater of 5% of lot area or 42.0 m² of building area, additional to the dwelling's lot coverage (2021-068).
- s.6.5.1: accessory buildings must be on the same lot as the primary use and may not be used for human habitation or an occupation for gain unless otherwise permitted.
- s.6.6 reduced front yard: a dwelling built between dwellings legally existing on the effective date in the same block, whose averaged front yards are less than the zone minimum, may use the average of the yards of the nearest dwelling on each side (2015-079).
- s.6.7 day cares: permitted only where the front or flankage lot line abuts an arterial or major collector road; minimum interior side yard 4.2 m; maximum driveway width in front/flankage yard 6.0 m plus an additional 5.7 m of continuous hard surface (notwithstanding s.5.8.2(b),(c)); playground equipment 1.8 m or taller set back 5.0 m from all lot lines, shorter equipment 2.0 m.
- s.6.9 parking structures: storage of vehicles for repair prohibited; no setbacks required for portions no more than 1.37 m above the nearest lot line elevation, except 1.0 m where abutting a Residential Zone, and ventilator shafts must be set back 3.5 m from any lot line.
- s.6.10 (2021-068): for semi-detached, townhouse, back-to-back and stacked townhouse blocks and common element condominiums, the whole lot/block (or proposed parcels of tied land) is used to determine compliance until lot lines are formally established.
- s.6.4 (-0 Suffix Zone) regulations apply only to lands with the -0 suffix: max residential floor area ratio for detached dwellings per Table 6.4.1 (43% below 557.5 m² lot area down to 29% at 1,301 m² or more), max 2 storeys and 9.0 m height, front yard = existing yard less 1.0 m (or parent zone minimum for vacant/new lots), max front yard 5.5 m greater than minimum, 50% of front main walls within the min/max front yard area, balconies/uncovered platforms prohibited above the first storey, no additional lot coverage for accessory buildings. Table 6.4.2 lot coverage rows do not list the RH zone.
- s.6.8 parking regulations apply only to the RUC zone, not RH.
