  • s.6.4.3: -0 Suffix Zone minimum front yard = legally existing front yard less 1.0 m; vacant or newly created lots use the parent zone minimum (7.5 m); maximum front yard for new dwellings = minimum front yard + 5.5 m (2017-025).
  • s.6.4.4: -0 Suffix Zone new buildings must have at least 50% of the length of main walls facing the front lot line within the area between the minimum and maximum front yards; does not apply to additions to legally existing buildings.
  • s.6.4.5: -0 Suffix Zone prohibits balconies and uncovered platforms above the first-storey floor level.
  • s.6.4.6: -0 Suffix Zone maximum 2 storeys, no floor area above the second storey, maximum height 9.0 m.
  • s.6.5.1: accessory buildings must be on the same lot as the primary use and not used for human habitation or an occupation for gain unless otherwise permitted.
  • s.6.5.2: accessory building yards same as the dwelling, except 0.6 m from any lot line when in a flankage or rear yard and at least 2.0 m from the dwelling; max height 4.0 m from grade, reduced to 2.5 m when less than 3.5 m from a flankage lot line; max accessory lot coverage the greater of 5% of lot area or 42.0 m², additional to the dwelling coverage (2021-068).

  • s.6.9 parking structures: no vehicle repair storage; no setbacks required for portions no more than 1.37 m above the nearest lot line, except 1.0 m where abutting a Residential Zone and 3.5 m for ventilator shafts.
  • s.6.10 (2021-068): proposed rear lot lines in back-to-back townhouse blocks deemed rear lot lines until established; the whole lot/block is used for compliance for semi-detached, townhouse, back-to-back and stacked townhouse dwellings; common element condominium regulations apply to proposed parcels of tied land until established.
  • s.6.8 (parking in the RUC Zone) does not apply to RL10.
