- -0 Suffix Zone RFA calculation (s.6.4.1, 2021-068): attic-level floor area measured from exterior face of knee wall; attic space with headroom over 1.8 m sharing a wall with a permitted storey counts as residential floor area; for a dwelling of more than one storey, an attached private garage counts toward residential floor area where the garage structure is 6.0 m or more high and the floor area directly above it is less than 25% of the garage floor area.
- -0 Suffix Zone front yard (s.6.4.3): minimum = legally existing yard on the by-law's effective date less 1.0 m; vacant or newly created lots use the parent zone minimum (7.5 m); maximum front yard for new dwellings = minimum front yard + 5.5 m (2017-025).
- -0 Suffix Zone main wall proportionality (s.6.4.4): at least 50% of the length of main walls facing the front lot line must be within the area between the minimum and maximum front yards (new buildings only, not additions to existing buildings).

- Accessory buildings (s.6.5): same minimum yards as the dwelling, except 0.6 m from any lot line when in a flankage or rear yard and at least 2.0 m from the dwelling; maximum height 4.0 m from grade, reduced to 2.5 m where less than 3.5 m from a flankage lot line; maximum lot coverage the greater of 5% of lot area or 42.0 m² of building area, additional to the dwelling coverage (not permitted in the -0 Suffix Zone); no human habitation or occupation for gain unless otherwise permitted.
- Reduced front yard (s.6.6): a dwelling built between dwellings that legally existed on the effective date in the same block, whose averaged front yards are less than the zone minimum, may use the average of the front yards of the nearest dwelling on each side (2015-079).
- Day cares (s.6.7): only on a lot whose front or flankage lot line abuts an arterial or major collector road (2015-079); minimum interior side yard 4.2 m; maximum driveway width in a front or flankage yard 6.0 m plus 5.7 m of additional continuous hard surface; playground equipment 1.8 m or taller set back 5.0 m from all lot lines, shorter equipment 2.0 m.
- Parking structures (s.6.9): no vehicle repair storage; no setbacks required for portions no more than 1.37 m above the nearest lot line elevation, except 1.0 m where abutting a Residential Zone and 3.5 m for ventilator shafts.
- Separation of dwelling units (s.6.10, 2021-068): proposed rear lot lines and whole lots/blocks are used for compliance for semi-detached, townhouse and condominium forms until lot lines are formally established.
- Permitted-use footnote 1 (Table 6.2.1, 2023-024): only one of bed and breakfast, day care, lodging house, private home day care or short-term accommodation is permitted on a lot.
