R1E zone, Brampton: Residential Single Detached E-x

Other provisions in this section
- The -x suffix (e.g. R1E-9, R1E-9.1, R1E-10.5) is the numerical minimum interior lot width in metres shown on Schedule A (Section 13.4).
- 13.4.2(j)(1) Garage projection: where the minimum interior lot width is less than 15 m, no garage may project into the front yard more than 1.5 m beyond a porch or front wall of the dwelling; where it is 15 m or more, no garage may project beyond a porch or front wall.
- 13.4.2(j)(2) No garage shall face the flankage lot line.
- 13.4.2(j)(3) Maximum cumulative garage door width for an attached garage: 3.7 m if lot width is less than 10.4 m; 4.6 m if lot width is 10.4 m to less than 11.6 m; 5.0 m if lot width is 11.6 m to less than 12.5 m; 5.5 m if lot width is 12.5 m to less than 14 m.
- 13.4.2(j)(4) Maximum interior garage width of an attached garage is 0.6 m wider than the maximum permitted cumulative garage door width.
- 13.4.2(j)(5) On lots greater than 14 m wide, the maximum interior garage width is 50% of the dwelling unit width.
- 13.4.2(k) Driveway width shall not exceed the width of the garage.
- 13.4.2(l) When abutting a TransCanada Pipe Line right-of-way, the minimum building setback is 10 m.
- 13.4.2(m) A balcony or porch may project into the minimum front or exterior side yard by a maximum of 1.8 m including eaves and cornices.
- 13.4.2(n) An accessory building shall have a minimum setback of 0.6 m to a rear yard lot line or an interior side yard lot line.
