Large rural estate lots (at least 0.8 hectares) for a single detached house or a Type 1 supportive housing residence, with wide setbacks and a maximum height of 10.6 metres.

Other provisions in this section

  • Minimum lot area is stated as 0.8 hectares (converted to 8,000 square metres in min_lot_area) (11.3.2(a)).
  • Minimum ground floor area for the main building: 170 square metres for a one-storey dwelling; 115 square metres for a dwelling of more than one storey (11.3.2(k)).
  • Accessory buildings on a lot of 2 hectares or less are subject to the accessory building requirements in the General Provisions (11.3.2(l)).
  • On a lot greater than 2 hectares, accessory buildings other than a detached garage or carport: not located in a front yard; not closer than 3 metres to the nearest lot line; no vehicle garage door exceeding 2.4 metres in height; an accessory building with a ground floor area greater than 75 square metres must be of wood or metal frame construction with wood or metal cladding (11.3.2(l)).
