A residential zone for back-to-back townhouses fronting onto a public street, where each block may hold up to 12 units on narrow lots of at least 6.0 m frontage.

Other provisions in this section
- Minimum landscaped area: 6.0 m² (Table 4.14B.1 line 11.1).
- Minimum 75% of the required front yard landscaped area must be landscaped soft area (line 11.2).
- Minimum contiguous private outdoor space: 6.0 m² (line 12.0).
- Air conditioning equipment may encroach into the required front or exterior side yard provided it is located on a balcony (line 9.1).
- Attached garage permitted; must comply with Table 4.1.12.1 Garage Regulations per 4.1.12.1 (e.g. max floor area 75 m² inside face of walls; attached garage counts toward dwelling lot coverage and height; minimum area of attachment 5.0 m long and 2.0 m high; no deck on top of a garage; balcony on top of an attached garage max 10 m² projecting no more than 1.0 m beyond the garage face).
- The one-garage-per-lot limit in 4.1.12.5 does not apply in RM12 zones.
- Minimum parking spaces: required per Part 3 of the By-law and Subsection 4.1.9 (notes 5 and 6); the zone table does not state a number.
- Maximum driveway width per Subsection 4.1.9 / Table 4.1.9A: 3.0 m for lot frontage less than 6.0 m; 6.0 m for 6.1 m to 16.9 m; 8.5 m for 17.0 m or greater.
- Front yard, exterior side yard and interior side yard setbacks are also subject to 4.1.7 (30.0 m setback to a railway right-of-way) and 4.1.8 (greater of 5.0 m or the required yard to lands zoned G1/G2).
- All buildings must also comply with Parts 1 to 3 and Section 4.1 of the By-law.
- No exception zones are listed under 4.14B.2.
