Other provisions in this section
- Maximum impervious surface cover per lot (s.6.5, s.8, Table 9.8.1) depends on Development Area: 20% in Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a), 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12; 25% in Areas 5(b) and 6; Area 13: elementary school 60%, detached units 20%, other permitted built forms 40%.
- Townhouse Dwelling (Table 9.6.1 footnote b): amenity area 25 m² per bedroom, 15 m² per efficiency unit; privacy area 20 m² per unit.
- Private garage (attached or unattached) with a detached dwelling must be no closer to the street line than the dwelling itself (s.6.3).
- Separation distance of 30 m from a railway right-of-way for land uses sensitive to railway rights-of-way (s.6.6).
- Yard abutting a pipeline easement: 7 m rear yard, 3 m side yard (Table 9.6.2, s.6.6).
- Yard abutting an O2 or O3 Zone: 7.5 m (Table 9.6.2).
- Yard abutting a P or PC zone: 6 m (s.6.6).
- 'L'-shaped detached dwelling without attached garage/carport forming one side and one end of a 4.5 m x 6.5 m parking space: side yard is the same as for a dwelling with an attached garage/carport (s.1(f)).
- Holding 'H' prefix: uses per Part 11 s.1.1; development deemed premature until 'H' removed per Part 11 s.1.2 (s.1(a)).
