A special North Aldershot zone for large (4.5 ha) rural-residential/institutional sites allowing retirement homes, long-term care, community institutions, agriculture and pre-1995 detached houses, with deep setbacks and a 40-unit cap.

  • Detached dwellings are permitted only on lots existing as of January 6, 1995, and are subject to the RNA1 zone regulations in Part 9, Section 4 (Table 9.3.1 footnote (d)).
  • Veterinary services only on existing lots of at least 1.2 ha; animal-keeping buildings, structures or enclosures set back 30 m from any lot line or street line (Table 9.3.1 footnote (e)).
  • Accessory farm commercial and accessory farm dwelling unit only in conjunction with a commercial farm; the farm dwelling unit must be for farm help (Table 9.3.1 footnotes (a), (b)).
